Swan Ways, an Arlington-based business offering luxury fashion accessories is hosting a party to:
- Celebrate the launch of Swan Ways private-label collection of silk scarves inspired by historical figures and events.
- Unveil the inaugural scarf design. Called “The Eagle,” the scarf pays tribute to France’s First Empire and Napoleon I, Emperor of the French. Alix Sundquist, Swan Ways’ founder, designed a scarf that brings together a rich tapestry of imperial symbolism and the Napoleonic legend.
- Celebrate the launch of Swan Ways new online boutique.

Event Highlights
- Exciting Venue: L'Éclat de Verre is a French-style framing shop and gallery located in a historic warehouse in Georgetown’s Cady’s Alley. Event guests will have the opportunity to tour their gallery of art framed in the French style using handmade papers.
- Exquisite French Wines: Guests will enjoy a tasting of several wonderful French wines.
- Fabulous French Food: An array of French cheeses, hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served.
- VIPGuests: The 300+ guest list includes VIPs from Washington embassies, museums and media outlets. Fashion stylists and boutique owners also will be among the guests.
